Performance
The Trax is powered by a single powertrain. A turbocharged 1.2-liter inline-three-cylinder engine that outputs 137 hp. Front-wheel drive and a six-speed automatic transmission are standard. Design

Chevy Trax Trim Levels
The 2025 Chevy Trax is available in five trim levels: LS, 1RS, LT, 2RS, and Activ.
LS: Sitting atop 17-inch steel wheels, the LS is reasonably well equipped. It offers features like LED headlights, an eight-inch infotainment screen, a four-speaker audio system, and a Wi-Fi hotspot.
1RS: The 1RS adds to the LS model with some visual flairs and additional tech. These added features include 18-inch alloy wheels, revised front, and rear fascias, and a heated flat-bottom steering wheel. The 1RS also adds all the features found in the LS Convenience package.
LT: The LS trim builds off the LS model. Bentonville customers can find amenities such as automatic climate control, an 11-inch touchscreen, and a six-speaker audio system. 17-inch alloy wheels and roof rails are also available.
2RS: The RS is a sportier model offering features from the LT Convenience package and 19-inch alloy wheels. These features include key-less entry, heated, power-adjustable mirrors, heated front seats, and a heated steering wheel.
Activ: The Activ also offers features from the LT Convenience package. But this model offers 18-inch alloy wheels and a power-adjustable driver's seat.
