Though only in its second year of production, the Equinox EV sees an increase in its power and torque. Front-wheel drive model goes from 213 hp to 220 and the all-wheel drive powertrain goes from 288 hp to 300. The rest of the model remains unchanged for the new model year.
Thanks to its electric motors, the Equinox EV delivers quick acceleration. It offers up to 300 horsepower in select configurations. The low-mounted battery pack keeps the center of gravity low for agile handling and good range. Front-wheel-drive models offer up to 319 miles of range. While the all-wheel-drive version drops that down to 285 miles.
A large central touchscreen serves as the command center. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto keep Bentonville drivers connected. Built-in Google apps and services seamlessly integrate maps, media, and vehicle functions. A rearview camera mirror and wireless device charging are also available.
Every Equinox EV comes standard with Chevy Safety Assist. This suite includes automatic emergency braking and lane keep assist with departure warning. Forward collision alert and IntelliBeam auto high beams add extra confidence. Super Cruise, Reverse Automatic Braking, and an HD Surround Vision camera are available upgrades.
