A Never-Before-Seen Tailgate
The Silverado has evolved since its debut back in 1998. However, tis trunks have remained relatively consistent in their front-load design. With the new Multi-Flex Tailgate, you will find six different ways of accessing the bed:
- Inner Gate w/ Work Surface: returns the Silverado into an outdoor office, with a standing desk space for laptops, work papers, and more.
- Inner Gate Load Stop: pops out of inner gate to prevent lumber and other stacked items from sliding.
- Full Width Stop: Inner gate folds down into step for easy bed access. Step can hold up to 375 lbs.
- Easy Access: Inner gate can fold down without step, bringing you close to truck bed.
- Primary Gate Load Stop: inner gate load stop also usable for the primary gate. Prevents stacked items from falling out of truck.
- Primary Gate: of course, the Silverado's gate can still fold down like a normal tailgate
