The Corvette E-Ray is a new entry in Chevrolet's lineup. This model will be the first hybrid Corvette, and it will be the first all-wheel drive model too. With a powerful hybrid engine powering this stylish sports car, going "green" has never looked so good. So, keep reading to learn more about what this all-new model has in store for the 2024 model year.

Highlights of the Corvette E-Ray

This is Corvette's first hybrid vehicle, but it's still a very powerful machine. Springdale and Bentonville drivers will find a 6.2-liter 655 horsepower V-8 hybrid powertrain under the hood. This model wears the same body kit and front-end treatment as the high-performance Z06 model. A 160-hp electric motor sits on the front axle and drives the front wheels, creating an all-wheel drive setup. A small 1.9 kWh battery pack also allows the Corvette E-Ray to travel 45 miles on electric power. When the electric motor and the V-8 operate simultaneously, the Corvette E-Ray can reach 60 mph in 2.5 seconds.

Although the performance of the E-Ray is a first for the Corvette nameplate, its interior is less unique. The E-Ray is a two-seater that can be optioned with materials such as leather, imitation suede, and genuine metal trim. This model offers the same features as those in the Stingray or Z06 models. Additional features include an eight-inch touchscreen, a 4G LTE mobile hotspot, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability.

Currently, Chevrolet still needs to provide specifics on the Corvette E-Ray's safety features. Though it's safe for Fort Smith residents to assume the safety features will also be similar to that of the Stingray.
